Hope, Healing and Moving Forward Without Limitations

As survivors of child sexual abuse, founders Deondra and Desirae Brown are dedicated to sharing their experiences to provide hope and encouragement to others.

Because of a generous grant from the Sorenson Legacy Foundation, The Foundation for Survivors Abuse is proud to present “Hope, Healing and Moving Forward Without Limitations”, an educational program that focuses on hope and healing. Deondra and Desirae share their experiences and what they have learned because of their journey to justice and healing. The program aims to empower and educate participants, and restore hope and healing to victims of sexual abuse. Discussion includes the importance of being open, respectful and having a willingness to discuss sexual abuse and its effects. This educational program can be adjusted to accommodate different audiences (e.g. survivors, parents, educators, policy makers, community members, teens, etc.) and time constraints.
